Up for sale is this 1972 Seiko Silver Panda 7018 Monoregister Automatic Chronograph ref.7018 Watch Only – 37mm.

A classic 1970s Seiko chronograph from the slim 701x family, showcasing Seiko’s technical mastery of compact automatic chronos.

The silver sunburst dial with baton markers and framed day-date window is clean and understated, with a 30-minute monoregister at 6 o’clock.

Positioned as a sleek alternative to the more famous 6139 “Pogue,” this model remains an accessible vintage collectible.

Powered by the Cal. 7018A automatic column-wheel, vertical-clutch chronograph movement with 23 jewels, produced September 1972.

At 37mm with sharp case lines and an original period bracelet, it wears elegantly while retaining pure 1970s design language.

Fun fact: The 7018 was one of the thinnest automatic chronographs of its time, slimmer than many Swiss rivals.
