This Rolex Cellini ref.3800 represents a lesser-known side of Rolex, when the brand explored elegant dress watches beyond its famous Oyster collection. Crafted in solid 18K white gold, its distinctive cushion-shaped case reflects the bold designs of the 1970s, paired with a simple silver sunburst dial that has developed subtle natural patina over time. Powered by the hand-wound Rolex calibre 1600, it reflects a period when slim cases, precious metals and classic styling were central to the Cellini collection. Today, these vintage Cellini models remain an overlooked part of Rolex history, offering collectors something different from the sports watches that have come to define the brand.
