At just 6mm thick, this Jaeger-LeCoultre is a fine example of how sophisticated a traditional dress watch can be without being complicated. Inside is the Calibre 900, introduced in 1976, an exceptionally thin 28-jewel automatic movement measuring only 3.25mm thick despite incorporating a date complication. Its modest 33mm stainless steel case is complemented by gracefully extended lugs, slender hands and a simple silver dial, giving the watch a refined yet understated appearance. With its naturally aged dial and classic proportions, this is a lovely example of vintage Jaeger-LeCoultre watchmaking that remains just as wearable today.
