Up for sale is this 1990s Sandoz Gold Tank ref.80775 cal.ETA2834 Automatic Swiss Watch – 35x40mm.
The Sandoz automatic captures the 1980s–90s era when Swiss ETA reliability met gold-tone elegance for global markets.
Its gold sunburst dial, baton markers, and day-date display give it a clean yet distinctly vintage charm.
Sandoz positioned these as affordable Swiss alternatives to pricier Omega and Longines dress models. Inside is an ETA-based 25-jewel automatic with Incabloc protection and quickset day-date functionality.
Fun fact: Sandoz was one of the few Swiss brands that split into regional houses, leading to unique Asian-market variants like this one.
