The Santos is one of Cartier’s most important watches, created in 1904 for aviator Alberto Santos-Dumont — long before wristwatches became standard for men. This Santos 100 ref. 2878 modernized that heritage with a bolder case, exposed screws, thicker proportions, and a strong industrial-luxury aesthetic.
The steel and solid 18k rose gold construction adds warmth and elegance without sacrificing the sporty character that defines the Santos line.
