1969 32mm Omega De Ville Tank Grey Dial ref.162.048 Cal.1002 Automatic Watch Only

This Omega De Ville ref. 162.048 pairs its distinctive Tank-shaped stainless-steel case with a seldom-seen charcoal-grey dial, creating an especially uncommon configuration. The dark dial complements the sharp geometry beautifully, accented simply by applied markers and a framed date window. Its slim automatic construction keeps the bold shape elegant on the wrist, while the sculpted stepped lugs give the case much of its character. More unusual than the familiar round De Villes of the period, it is a particularly strong example of Omega’s more experimental late-1960s design language that still looks remarkably contemporary today.
