This Rolex Oysterdate Precision ref. 6694 is one of the classic manually wound Oyster models, combining a compact steel case with Rolex’s signature date Cyclops. Its blue sunburst dial has developed extensive natural patina and oxidation around the perimeter, giving the watch a distinctly aged vintage character, almost purple looking, rather than the appearance of a restored example. Inside is the Rolex calibre 1225 manual-winding movement, paired here with a Rolex Oyster bracelet. With vintage Rolex increasingly dominated by cleaner and more expensive examples, this 6694 offers genuine period character at a much more accessible level today.
